but I think you should have been a little more suspicious of the "crappy CELL PHONE pics." That's a dead giveaway that the seller might be trying to hide something, or that they are lazy, which can be just as bad. If a seller doesn't take the time to take decent, detailed pics of an item for eBay, I automatically just pass it up. If it was a high-dollar item, such as a set of wheels, that I was really interested in, I would have requested some more detailed, close-up pictures. The seller is still trying to play you for a fool, but you kind of fell into a trap, IMO. I'll admit, I usually trust a seller's textual description of an item for the most part, but now way would I have done so on a set of used wheels. The phrase "good condition" is subjective and relative. Of course they could be in worse condition, but the seller should have definitely mentioned the dent. As for advice, I would look into how much it might cost to have that dent repaired, then try to negotiate with the seller for a partial refund of that amount. I hope you got them for a good deal.
